If they are to change their travel plane at the last moment, they can get a refund on their canceled tickets without paying any additional charges. Passengers get a coupon to use for a complimentary drink in flight.

Anytime Fare: Under this policy, Southwest Airlines offers money back option in case of changing the travel plan. For every dollar, passengers get 10 points that can be used for booking in the future. An In-flight entertainment facility is also available for the passengers traveling under the Anytime fare policy.

Wanna Get Away: There is a no-refund policy on canceled tickets under this type of fare policy, though; passengers can avail of their canceled fund within 12 months from the date of reservation. The Southwest awards 6 points to the passengers choosing Wanna Get Away fare policy. In-flight entertainment includes free movies, live TV, etc.

Baggage Allowance

In contrast with other airlines, Southwest Airlines doesn’t charge fees for checked baggage consisting of two items.

Carry-on Baggage Dimension: 10 x 16 x 24 inches

Personal Items with 18.5 x 8.5 x 13.5 inches dimensions can be laid under the seat ahead. If you are unable to store your personal item under the seat, you can place your bag in the bin overhead.

You may be charged $75 per item if your baggage weight or size exceeds the limit prescribed by the Southwest.
